Almost every call I have received over the last few months has to do with a client getting some type of computer virus. What is going on? I wanted to write an article today to answer a few of the top questions I am asked when recovering a computer that has a virus on it.

We already covered Ctrl + A = Select All. But there is a whole new world out there when it comes to selecting text and objects in the Windows world.

I have been convicted. So many people I visit can't believe how fast I can move around a computer. Well I have been silent too long. I'm going to start a series of posts about those scary KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS that you never got around to using. The thing about these is that you can use them pretty much anywhere so JUST TRY THEM and you'll be getting more work in less time in NO TIME!

There is usually a fine line between the time and effort it takes to get rid of a virus through manual removal and scanning and a complete format and reinstall. This article discusses additional considerations when it comes to the decision to remove or reformat.
